Shah Rukh Khan is a superstar renowned for his box office success and influence on modern pop culture, but it's his sense of humor that has further endeared him to fans. Known for his sharp wit and quick responses, the actor recently shared that, in today's world, it's perhaps wiser to 'not have a sense of humour.' He expressed this view during a recent interaction.
Shah Rukh Khan recently attended the Locarno Film Festival, where he appeared on the Locarno Meets podcast. During the conversation, he discussed his desire to work on comedy films and reflected on why his sense of humor isn't always well received. He said, “I'll be honest, I think I have an innate sense of humor, and I can make people laugh, but it's very inappropriate times also. So I try to control myself, I'm told by my team all the time, people don't understand your humor.”
In the conversation, Shah Rukh Khan expressed his interest in exploring different film genres. After establishing himself with romantic films and finding recent success in action movies, he mentioned that he'd like to take on comedy or horror projects next. “As an actor, I think comedy is very difficult. I think it's a very serious business. It's very difficult. It's the one that there's most actors failed. It's where I have failed,” he said.
Reports suggest that SRK is now set to collaborate with his daughter Suhana Khan in Sujoy Ghosh's King.
