Aishwarya Rai shared a photo on Instagram to wish her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan a happy birthday.
She shared an old photograph of Amitabh Bachchan with her daughter, Aaradhya. She wrote, “Happy birthday, paa-dadaji. God bless always.” She added a slew of emoticons in her typical way.
Aishwarya is the wife of Amitabh Bachchan's son, Abhishek Bachchan. He didn't make any social media wishes for his father on his 82nd birthday. Even his daughter, Shweta Bachchan, did not make any posts.
Rumours of conflict between Aishwarya Rai and the Bachchan family first surfaced in July, during Anant Ambani's wedding. Aishwarya and her daughter Aaradhya arrived to the wedding separately from the rest of the Bachchan family, including Amitabh, wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, grandson Agastya, and granddaughter Navya.

Later, Aishwarya went to Paris Fashion Week, where no one from the family save Aaradhya joined her. Aaradhya was once again alone at the IIFA last month.
Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan, both prominent Bollywood actors, have worked together on numerous films, including Dhai Akshar Prem Ke, Kuch Naa Kaho, Dhoom 2, Umrao Jaan, Guru, Sarkar Raj and Raavan. The pair married on April 20, 2007, in a private ceremony attended by family and close friends. They welcomed their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, on November 16, 2011.
On the work front, Aishwarya was last seen in Ponniyin Selvan 2, directed by Mani Ratnam, and she has yet to reveal her next project. Abhishek will feature in the upcoming Prime Video film Be Happy. Amitabh Bachchan's latest role was alongside Rajinikanth in Vettaiyan, marking his first lead role in a Tamil film, following his work in Kalki 2898 AD.
