Kareena Kapoor Khan calls Diljit Dosanjh her favorite international collaboration; says, “Hum Diljit Dosanjh ke bahut bade fan hain”

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh have appeared in several films together. Earlier in 2024, they collaborated in the heist comedy Crew, where their chemistry in the song ‘Naina’ captivated audiences. Recently, Kareena expressed that her favorite international collaboration was with Diljit on ‘Naina’, declaring herself a big fan of his.

In a recent conversation at the NDTV World Summit, Kareena Kapoor Khan was asked about her favorite international collaboration. Kareena said, “I think the best collaboration has to be kyunki hum Diljit Dosanjh ke bahut bade fan hain, woh toh sab jaante hain (I am a big fan of Diljit Dosanjh, and everyone knows that).”

Kareena Kapoor Khan praised Diljit Dosanjh for elevating the song ‘Naina’ from Crew and Punjabi music to new heights, stating that he has placed them on "global billboards." She highlighted that Diljit has remained true to his roots and culture, calling "Naina" a special song and a fantastic international collaboration.

Diljit has also expressed his admiration for Kareena on several occasions. A playful moment they shared on stage during his performance at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding event went viral, where he jokingly held Kareena's hand and said, “Hoyegi Rihanna, Hoyegi Beyonce, saddi ta ae hi Rihanna, ae hi Beyonce.”

On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan recently starred in the crime thriller The Buckingham Murders, which is particularly special for her as it marks her debut as a producer. The film features a cast that includes Ranveer Brar, Ash Tandon, Assad Raja, Prabhleen Sandhu, Sanjeev Mehra, Adwoa Akoto, and Zain Hussain, and is directed by Hansal Mehta, with production by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Kareena herself.

Additionally, a Kareena Kapoor Khan Film Festival took place from September 20 to 27, 2024, re-releasing many of her iconic films like Jab We Met, Omkara, and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham in theaters across India.

Kareena is also preparing for the release of the Cop Universe film Singham Again, set to premiere on Diwali 2024.
