On Saturday night, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan took to his Instagram feed to share a video of him singing the iconic song 'Lag Jaa Gale' to pay an emotional tribute to Lata Mangeshkar. In the video, the actor is seen singing Lata Mangeshkar's song from 1964 while remembering her.
Sharing the video, the actor wrote, "Never has been, never will be any1 like u Lataji ….". Fans, too, got emotional and remembered the late singer in the comment section and also praised Salman for his singing skills.

The song 'Lag Jaa Gale' is from the 1964 film Woh Kaun Thi? starring Sadhana, Manoj Kumar, and Prem Chopra. The song which is still enjoyed by millions of people was composed by Madan Mohan Kohli and penned by Raja Mehdi Ali Khan.
Lata Mangeshkar passed away on February 6, leaving the world with thousands of songs in her melodious voice to remember her with. The singer passed away due to COVID-19 related complications and was laid to rest at Shivaji Park in Mumbai with full state honours. The ashes of the singer were immersed in Ramkund in Nashik on Thursday.
Meanwhile, to honour the legacy of the Nightingale of India, the Maharashtra government has proposed to build a singing academy in Mumbai University's Kalina campus. The Madhya Pradesh government announced that they will construct an academy, singing school, and a museum in Indore which is the birthplace of Mangeshkar.
